Extended info page

When I add extended information Business generates an info page. The problem that occurs is that the number always starts as info_1.html which means I have to keep on changing it which is a pain in the ***.

I have recently changed PC's and on my old PC it just used to increment the page number which is what I wanted.

Any ideas?

The default naming convention for the pop-up extended information pages is

info_PRODREF.html

Where 'PRODREF' is the product reference number of the product. This name is assigned to the pop-up page the first time you click 'OK' after creating a new product - or the first time you preview an imported store.

When you auto-generate product reference numbers, and create a new product, Actinic always takes the first available number, which will be '1' if that product reference is not being used. You must have deleted your product with this reference number.

In order to control the naming of pop-up windows, you can go to 'Business Settings | Options' and un-tick 'Auto-Generate Product References'.
