Changing colors - or not....!

Hi - I want to change the background color on my site.. but for some reason the View Options Color dialogue box doesn't seem to have any effect... is there any default that I've inadvertently
triggered?

check the Design | Options | Site Defaults tab -on the 'Background', change the 'Image' to 'Color'. Then go to Design | Colors and the dropdown for selecting a colour should be activated.

Thanks Lee - I'd forgotten that I'd edited a template - that was causing the override.
