hi

Just started out using actinic still in try out version im trying to remove buttons and add buttons within my shop is this possible using actinic templates or can i edit them in frontpage and tell actinic thats the format i want without it over writing my files back to default

what i would realy like to do is use actinic templates
rearrange them in frontpage
load back to acctinic
config there in actinic
upload to server

Are you talking about navigation buttons?

If so, then you can remove buttons by removing all details relating to them from 'Design | Options | Navigation'.

If you want to add buttons, then you need to add the HTML code for the buttons explicitly in the overall layout template - normally called Act_Primary.html and Act_BrochurePrimary.html.

Depending on the theme you are using, you add the code for your new buttons next to NETQUOTEVAR:FOOTERGUIDE or NETQUOTEVAR:HEADERGUIDE. YOu may well be able to edit the overall layout templates in Frontpage - just take a backup of the file first in case Frontpage corrupts it.
