Now that it's possible to use NOCHEX as a psp solution I was wondering if it might be possible to automatically apply a discount to customers who select this payment option?
The reason being that Paypal & Worldpay are considerably more expensive - but most customers prefer to use these options - if I could drive people to either using Nochex (or even a normal cheque) by offering a discount we'd all be winners - I'd have less bank charges & the customer will get a discount.
People are now used to surcharges for paying by credit card (although this dosn't wash for on-line shops like mine) - but if you use a bit a reverse psycology and offer a discount for not using a credit card it mightv be a worthwhile tool.
So - is it possible & what dose everyone else think?
