    Quickbooks and VAT rounding

Can anyone tell me which Actinic (6) VAT rounding scheme matches the Quickbooks (2003) VAT calculations please?
I'm using Round Order Scientific, but it is out by a penny on an order with 99.00 and 19.00 amounts (a penny down). I could try them all, but Quickbooks is so common I figure someone must have worked it out already.

    Many thanks,

    Hi Matthew

If you are getting a penny rounding off, then you might want to use Custom Tax rather than VAT rounding

I haven't tried the various options yet - I hoped to get a tip rather than test them all first. Custom VAT I really hope I don't need, though it is obviously a useful final option.

I've had a good look in the QuickBooks help file, but cannot find any reference to tax rounding. I guess they just assume tax is always rounded in a certain way, but then don't tell you which way that is.

All I can suggest is try asking Intuit - I am trying to find their website but all their servers appear to be down at the moment.
