    Sections then Sub Section placement

    Hi,

I'm trying to achieve a top level section page that has image/title 3 columns and 4+ deep, but maintain the subsections as 1 column x deep.

I can edit the generated page manually but I feel i may be missing something. Basically the top level section doesn't have much text so I can afford the space horizontally. The subsections however are quite text heavy and need to be 1 section per line.

    Have a look - http://www.cobhamfinewines.com/acatalog/index.html

    thanks for your help,

    Hi,

You can get your sections into columns by going into 'Design | Text | Sections' and changing the 'Default Location and Arrangement of Section Lists' | 'First Row Column Count' and 'Subsequent Row Column Count' to however many columns you want. This will change all the sections and sub-sections, however, you can override this at the section level to ensure that sub-sections display in 1 column. Double-click on the main section and choose the 'Layout' tab - tick the 'Override Default Layout' box and enter the number of columns you want for sub-sections in the appropriate boxes.

    I hope this helps.
