Upgrading to V6.1.4

If I upgrade my version of Developer to 6.1.4 do I also have to ensure that my client are using the same version of catalog on their machine sin order to download orders?

p.s. when is version 7 due out? and when it is will I be able to upgrade all my own sites but not my cutosmers unless they upgrade their copy?

Hi,

That’s correct you will need to ensure that both the uploading and downloading machine have the identical versions, if you maintain the customers site. Also make sure to perform a web refresh from the uploading machine to update all files.

In v7, we plan to make a change so that Developer a.b.c will work with client's version a.b.d where c and d are any number. I know that the work it works at the moment is a pain and sorry about that.

The best information on v7 that we can give is that it will be sometime in Q2.
