    New Products Display?

    Hi Everyone

I have a site which has a large amount of new products constantly being added. Id like to be able to show a list of the latest products (with a link to the induvidual product), say the latest 10? on the home page. Id then like them to be removed as newer ones are added, hmmm not asking for too much then!

Can anyone think of anyway this can be achieved?

    Thanks

    James

If you are using a brochure page for your home page then you could use brochure fragments for a list of 10-ten best sellers.

Otherwise, you need to manually edit the HTML to include the list in.

You could always have a separate *.txt file containing the code for the top ten list and then use a line like

    NETQUOTEVAR:INCLUDE topten.txt

in your overall layout template (either Act_Primary.html or Act_BrochurePrimary.html) to include this into the design.

But there would be no way to do it automatically?

take a look at my site @ www.discountcoffee.co.uk

The script is called 'crosssellpro' i got it from Smart decision in Kent - they did me site, you will find a link to them on my website at the bottom of each page.

Basically as people buy stuff the rank order chages too. one way to manipulate the order of the products is to place a dummy order myself for eg 100 boxes of product X. This would place it at the very top of the best sellers list. you could do this with all your products you want on your top 10!!!!

And drop me an email to garry@discountcoffee.co.uk if you need any further information. no probs in having a chat about it.

          regards,
          garry
