Just a quick question - which template controls what appears in the add to basket screen?

This depends on the shopping mode you are using.

If you are using 'Quantity on Confirmation Page' then the template you want is Act_OrderDetail.html.

If you are using 'Quantity in Shopping Cart' then the templates you want is Act_ShoppingCart.html and Act_ShoppingCartXML.html.
