Add to Cart Redirect Time

I am sure that this question has been answered before in this forum but I just can't find it anywhere.....??

So here goes.....again?

How can I change the length of time before the Add to Cart redirect kicks in, or even better, can I disable this function and just have a continue shopping button that goes to the same place?

Hi,

Try this:

Goto: Design | Options | Shop Defaults (tab at top of dialog) change the bounce option in the Shopping mode section of the dialog

Hi Richard,

Yes, simply change the shopping mode to "Quantity in Shopping Cart" or "Quantity on Confirmation Page". I would suggest to use the latter as when you add to cart, it will ask you to continue, checkout or cancel.
The shopping mode can be changed in "Design | Option | Shop Default".

Due to product requirements, we must have the 'Single Add to Cart Button' Option selected for certain pages in the catalog. Is it possible to disable bounce option?

I'm getting complaints from our clients saying that they are afraid shoppers will think that they haven't actually added anything to the cart. I've pointed out that the cart contents are displayed on the side of the catalog at all times, but they're still afraid shoppers will get confused by this.

Change the bounce delay to 0 (zero) and see what happens - on my site that keeps the user in the cart till he presses a button to continue.
