..Lacking inspiration..

I need inspiration.. What would work. I need a system configuration page where people can choose from a selection of components and I build the machine for them. Problem is I dont necessarily like the way Actinic uses the drop down box idea or similar. I want something a little different if possible, that is still configured via Actinic - is this possible?

Gary Hay - http://www.grampianwebwizards.com/ - did a site where he used Flash (or Swish) to allow a customer to choose various options visually by clicking on bits of the animation.

He's a regular on this forum and you'll find him in the members list.
