product border

i have managed to edit my product template to add a border to every product image the problem is the border is black in colour. ive specified it as bordercolor and teh hex code but it dont seem to be working?

i have checked my design options and colours and its not that, its just the product image not teh section image? teh image is not a link to anything its just a simple image? could anyone please help me! im probably being really thick so dont be scared to laugh!

is ok ive fixed it! i have cheated slightly and put a table round it in dreamweaver and and put the broder on the table instead, i no its not correct standards but it works! i dont care!
