    Error with Linked DB

    Hi,

I am currently moving one of our static catalogs over to a database and then including the products with a database link in Business, but I have hit a point where i'm adding products with very large exteded info pages to the extent that Actinic is reporting 'Data truncation' errors and not importing the products.

The fields are obviously able to take the data as they have sat in catalog as products quite happily, but running them from a database with exactly the same info isnt...

Can anyone suggest what I can do to overcome this problem?

I have found a fix... I had emylated Jan's Multiple Products system but there seems to be a problem with large fields importing from an Excel Spreadsheet. I have managed a fix for this by omitting the spreadsheet and now have a Multi-Prods system fully database driven Actinic now has no problem importing large fields into its database.
