Integrating install code generation

Is there any scope for integrating an install code generator into Actinic? Essentially, we need to be able to offer electronic purchase with instant install code release. The install codes need to be generated by an app that would be on the server and would need the email address and name etc. An email should be generated, but that could be done by the app if necessary.

I'd really like to be able to use Actinic for this, but the existing download system isn't suitable. I'd appreciate any thoughts on how this might be done, or even if it isn't possible.

One way you could do it is to call a php page from the receipt page (passing the product code, email address, etc) and then generating the email and install code from that page.
