Adding updates and notes to orders

Hello,

I don't use the stock control options (too complex to explain why here) so sometimes I receive an order and I need to back order from the supplier. As the number order increases, the number of back orders increases and it's difficult to keep track of when the back order was place, with which supplier, and what the ETA is.

Have I missed something or am I right in thinking that there is no facility for adding notes to orders?

What I'd like to be able to do is just add updates to backorders. Is this on a wish list already?

You could always do this at the moment using adjustments (and then deleting them before shipping the order). I know it's clunky, but it might work until Actinic adds the feature.
