I'm helping a friend who is helping another friend that has your software installed on their website. They are using Version 6.1 of your shopping cart/ecommerce system.
They have a login for contractors which offers specific items to each individual contractor, along with discounted prices. What they want to be able to do is control the content that is displayed based upon user login.
Currently, their problem is that "CONTRACTOR A" is only able to receive discounts on one category of merchandise, "GLOVES", but when CON A logs in, there are links to five different types of merchandise.
Is there a way to modify the script that processes the login form so that CON A only has one category to choose from? Or is there some type of administrative control panel built in to the system that will allow them to do this? The user accounts related to this contractor all have the same first three digits.
The website is here: http://www.excelgloves.com
Thank you,
Kale
