What is Waiting for CC Details?

We have an order pending as "Waiting for CC details". We are using Authorize.net for our payment service provider. On their site, this order is shown as settled. What CC details is this order waiting for?

"Waiting for CC details" generally shows the state when the payment method is set to "Credit Card Details Sent Separately" rather than using a PSP.

This method is normally chosen by customers who do not wish to enter their credit card details online, but 'phone them or fax them to you separately. You would then normally need to enter the card details into your payment service provider, and when authorised, you can update the payment status in Actinic by entering dummy card details (e.g. visa, 0000000000000000 and 04/04), then click View Payments and click New Entry to enter the amount received.

If you are certain that in this case you really have received an authorised payment, then you can carry on as above. But note that it is possible to change the payment method in a received order, so check that this is not what has happened here.
