    Different shipping charges

    Hi,

We are developing a site which currently has 2 sets of product lines all products are to be housed within actinic.

Our fisrts ste of products have :

    prod 1 = 3kg = £1.20
    prod 2 = 7kg = £2.20
    prod 3 = 36kg = £22.20

    our other product line

    prod 4
    1 roll = £2.22
    2 rolls = £5.00

How can i get these product lines to be in the shipping charges, and be based on what / how many / weights etc are purchased??

    kind regards

Mel - I can make Actinic do this when there are just two different types of products e.g.

    prod 1 = 3kg = £1.20
    prod 2 = 7kg = £2.20

You make prod 1 weigh 0.001kg and prod 2 weigh 1kg.

You then set up shipping as follows:

    Weight | Cost
    0.001 | £1.20
    0.002 | £2.40
    0.003 | £3.60
    0.004 | £4.80
    1.000 | £2.20
    1.001 | £3.40
    1.002 | £4.60
    1.003 | £5.80
    1.004 | £7.00
    2.000 | £4.40

It is not going to be possible to do this with all the different types of products you have though. You are just going to have to set up a single set of weight-based shipping costs and then give each product a weight that will leave you with approximately the right shipping charge.
