Order Numbers

I know the ordern numbers that actinic creates are unique, but our client wnat change the format of them

e.g from

DM14UP100014

to

unique key - cust code
(20040401 - TR433)

I'm not sure if this is possible in Actinic but could someone verify if it can be done, if not it we would have to write a program to change it, what do you all think????

I have personally never seen done with any actinic site. You could have a look into the perlscripts, take a look in either Actinic.pm or orderscript.pl. These scripts handle the checkout stages, there are comments within these scripts.

If anyone has already done this, please could they comment to this thread
