VAT number not appearing on receipt

Jan answered someone's question about getting the VAT number to appear on the reciept...

You have to define a Tax 1 Description and a Tax 1 Number in the company details (View | Business Setting | Company/Contact details) and then it will appear on the invoice.

I've added the tax description and number in Business Settings | Company/Contact, and enabled 'Include Tax1' in Business Settings | Tax. Despite that, and numerous other combinations of settings, the VAT number still refuses to appear on the receipt!

Can anyone help?

Hi,

The Receipt is not a VAT receipt so if you want it to appear you will have to edit Act_Order04.html and add your VAT number in manually. Jan's answer was to get it onto the invoice not the receipt page.
