There is no way, is there, that Actinic can be made to display .pdfs? Nor ever likely to be?

What is it that you want to do?
If you want to display a PDF document (perhaps as additional to the product description) then you can make a link to a pdf file and clicking it will load it in the customers browser.

A pdf file is viewed on the PC using an adobe plug-in to the browser rather than on the server so Actinic doesn't really come into it.
There's nothing to stop you linking to a pdf though if that's what you want to do.
If you have something specific that you're trying to do then it's always worth asking straight out. People here have managed to do all kinfs of things with Actinic.
