Is confirmation of cart quantity needed?

Hi - on www.specialgardengifts.com (on a test mode site)

a customer can order, say, two products.

Then pressing Continue, the next page displays the size and quantity, but requires confirmation of the quantity.

If this is not entered, the shopping card displays the price of one product, but shows that two were ordered.

Is there a reason for the quantity request confirmation?

Can it it bypassed in someway?

Hi James

The confirmation on quantity is down to the shopping mode you are using. If you are using Quantity in Shopping cart, then you will need to confirm the quantity, however, if you set the shopping mode in Quantity in Product page, then it will bounce you back to the product page.

Please check the shopping mode in "Design | Options | Shop Default | Shopping Mode"

Hi, Nadeem - thanks for that - I'd missed it.

But, when I changed it to product mode, the shopping cart didn't seem to reflect the number ordered... I don't think I've altered the template.....

(Have gone back to quantity mode for the time being....)
