Postage problems

I don't think this is possible - but thought I'd ask anyway.

I'm designing a site where postage is based on value (ie up to £25.00 £3, £25-£50 -P&P £5 etc)

What I also want to do is have no postage for certain very small light items.

Is this possible.

This should work:

If you assign each item a weight based on value (i.e. 500p = 500g, etc) then all you have to do is assign a light weight to the exceptional items and have that weight of item set to zero postage.
