product layout template problem !!

Help !!
I have a product layout template with 6 fields across.
In dreamweaver the cells total 2000 px.
(clearly far too bing for the web)

I need to be able to change the cells width because some
have little content and some a lot.
How do I change ithem?

Whatever I do seems to have no effect and my target cell remains far too small in the generated page, with a narrow column being generated.

(All other elements like cell b/g colouring and borders I can edit ok)

Urgently need help !

Hi,

You can specify the width of the cells in the <td> tags, ie:

<td width="100">

or

<td width="20%">
