Corrupt Profile

My windows Profile was half destroyed in a power outage and I need to access my old Actinic sites I don't have the most recent snapshot and there is a ton of work that has the potential of being lost if there is no way to re-import or recover the old site directories. I have done everything recommended in other sites but the big problem is I don't have access to the old user profile. There is no way to log on as that user so I can't recover the registry files to try and import them.

Is there any other way I can recover the sites? I have the sites directory and all the data but I'm not sure what the steps are to recover all the information.

Hi Jason

If you got an old snapshot, then try the following

1. Install Actinic on a new machine
2. Import the old snapshot, this will bring in the encryption key and store registry entries
3. Once the old data is in the Actinic, simply copy the new data from the crashed site1 pc to the new installed actinic pc, so the new data will be brought forward
