new windows profile

At present we currently have 9 sites which we manage in version 6. my problem is as follows, we have had a new internal server installed and I now have to login with a new username and password (profile), once logged in I try to open the actinic software but I get a database error and then it closes down. Is this because I have to login with a different profile?
How do I resolve this problem without loosing any site information?

Yes, you can only use Actinic with the profile you installed it on, this is because it is set to the current user
