    Page Title - Index.html

    When we did one of the version 6 upgrades (can't remember which one) , our index.html Page Title changed from just 'Pazyryk Limited' to

    'Pazyryk Limited Pazyryk Limited'

    I see there is a few threads on this topic, but none which simply address this duplication of the company name field on index.html page title.

    This is probably real simple to fix, any comments anyone ?

    The page is here:

    http://www.pazyryk.co.uk

    Thanks,

    Paul

    this is because the <TITLE> tag is made up of 2 netquotevars

    <TITLE>
    NETQUOTEVAR:PAGETITLE NETQUOTEVAR:PAGEHEADER
    </TITLE>

    the first is drawn from Company Name, the 2nd from the page name.

    by default the index page gets the conmpany name in the pagename. I don't know of any solution unless you remove NETQUOTEVAR:PAGETITLE from the <Title> tag.

    However you will get more benefit from using both netquotevars in your title for all the other catalog pages than you will from removing page title for this one page

    Or look inthe knowledge base to see how to set your own customvar to define all titles yourself. - this is the best option
