Printed invoice

Horray, turned on store (www.fidelitydj.co.uk) on Friday and have had my first 2 orders.

I have a question re the printed invoice.

In the deliver to address, what file do I need to edit to remove the phone and email details.

I am looking for a source where i can get the little plastic wallets that you put an invoice into and stick to the front of a parcel rather than writing out the address. I therefore want to remove the Phone and Email details from the printout so that through the wallet, the posty (and any one else) can see the address only.

If any one knows a supplier of the wallets that would be good too!!

PS. You need crystral reports 8.5 to remove the details from the invoice. One of the thing actinic could change to make our life easier.

We have a product that puts an extra copy of the delivery address at the bottom of the page, this is ideal for folding and putting into one of those plastic wotsits. The product is called 'Packing List with extra delivery address'. You can see details of it in the info popup on this page :

We also have a custom report that is exactly the same as the Actinic one with the offending lines removed (cost £25)

We also have reports designed to print on specialise paper with a removable sticky label, the paper is pricey but it is a very convenient solution. You could of for this and fold the paper to start with.

If that doesn't suit then you can go into Actinic and remove those details from the delivery address before printing and those fields will not show on the reports.

Congratulations on your first orders.
I use the modified packing report from Mole End and find it works in an A5 document enclosed envelope fine. I installed this with the small font option.

why not labels?

I went for the different solution of using a dymo address labeller, along with Jans 'automated mole' and an add-on, so when I get home there is a big stack of invoices and delivery notes, and a whole bunch of labels ready to stick on the boxes. The automation mole add-on also does some address formatting before printing. just a thought.
