Nortree Text Wrap

Hi

Does anyone (or Norman if you're out there) know if it's possible to wrap the text on the Nortree Cascading Menu. To see what I mean take a look at the link below:

Some subsection options have big descriptions, but I don't want to extend the width of the menu. I've tried to use the 'text wrap' option but that doesn't appear to have any affect.

The alternative is to try to reduce the subsection descriptions, which my customer doesn't mind, but I thought I'd give this a go first.

Your text IS being wrapped (that's the default behaviour) but you haven't made the cells tall enough to see both lines.

I think this is a case of a badly worded question. You're quite right...the text is wrapping!

What I should have said was can the cell height be made to auto fit the text wrapped cells....a bit like an excel spreadsheet cell. I assume it can't be done in the current system without adjustment to the javascript. So I'm going to go for the simple option and shorten all of the section / subsection names.

Probably, but you'd have to modify nortree_menu_com.js and I didn't write that so I can't help with it.

There is a feature that will sort of help. You can have big cells and NorTree will shrink them (to a minimum height) if there's not enough room on the page for the entire table.
