Change link on section image

Hi there...

Is it possible to change the location of the link that Actinic generates on a single section image (which sits amongst many others which will continue to need Actinic to generate them)

I need to have the link direct the user out of Actinic and onto another website

The only way round this that I've so far been able to think of is to tell the linked section to use a different primary template which has a 0second META refresh on it which then goes to the correct site.

Anyone any better ideas?

If it is for the display of a section, where that image alone links through the a separate website, then grab the normal section template (Advanced | Template Manager | Section tab and then Child Sections template button.

Immediately save it as say "Act_SectionLine_Link1.html" and then where you see <A HREF="NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONLINK">NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONIMAGE</A> change the NETQUOTEVAR:SECTIONLINK to your URL and maybe add in a TARGET="new_window" to make it open in a new browser etc...

Then go into the section where you want this image to link to the external site and place in within the section layout option the new filename you have created "Act_SectionLine_Link1.html" and then update the site for it to go live.
