Stock control hiccup

Not exactly a support question, just curious to know why this occured.

Customer send 2 identical orders for an item that was set at 1 in 'Maximun quantity orderable' and 'Stock in hand.' with stock control enabled.

I would have thought that after the first order the item would be flagged as 'Sold out' and the buy button hidden.

Any thoughts.

Hi Mike

The stock control only comes into effect when you download an order and then do an upload.

Therefore is the first customer had purchased the product, and you downloaded the order and then uploaded, the next customer would not be able to purchase that item
