Hiya everyone

I was just wondering what everyone is using to a) capture email and b) manage / construct emails in ..

We have been manually capturing email address from orders and using word/outlook to send which is just messy process

I have been looking at group mail but not be able to get a trial I am not sure if to go with pro or plus

Very powerful and flexible - once you get used to it.

Good import routines (e.g. de-dupe, validation)which you can use to import from Actinic and other sources

I use Mailloop (www.mailloop.com) Again, it has it;s idiosyncrasies, but great once you get the hang of it.

Be warned, the sales pitch is full on!

Whatever you use, take a look at our email marketing

I like Dadamail. Its a free software that install on linux and works using perl. Dada mail is a double opt in self maintaining email list. It works off your own domain and its free under gnu license.

We have it installed on our site, you can check it out there, plus I have installed it on a dozen or more customers with little or no problems. its slick

I am going to play about with that today, does sound very kewl! Thats what I need something running on the webserver to give ppl real time unsubscribe features ..
