    Global change of text prompts

I need to change all instances of a "prompt", throughout the site.
    For example "Catalog" to "Catalogue"

Has anyone got a solution please?

    Yes,

Go to 'Design | Text' and search for the word 'Catalogue'. Change all the instances you find to 'Catalog'.

Thanks for that. However, I was rather hoping for a search and replace type function.

The reason is that my clients often require that the vocabulary is anglicised, or more accurately that Americanisms are removed, the main offenders being "Calalog" and "Cart".

For one site it is OK to do as you suggest, but for a number of sites, it starts costing money.

Interesting that I always perceive that Actinic are a British company and yet there is often an American feel to Actinic based sites, (Just a thought ).

You can do a find and relace within the Access database if you want. The table is the 'Checkout Prompts' table.

          Brilliant.

In fact, when I get the V7 upgrade, (next job), I'll create a bespoke prompt set for myself and use that for every site.

          Many thanks.
