NetBenefit and Secure Server Form for Catalog

Hi

In the past I've used Actinic's own shared ssl, but my client has a SSL form with their NetBenefit hosting package. My problem is how do I integrate the SSL form with Catalog. NetBenefit pointed me here for info: https://www.secure-server.co.uk/overview.cfm but how can I integrate it Catalog which I am going to be using here http://www.paultonspark.co.uk/acatalog/shop.html. Having used the shared route before I didn't have to think about this part and could do with any help and guidance for setting this up! NetBenefit's tech dept just pointed me in the direction of the overview.cfm page and that was it, so I need an idiot's guide to put me in the right direction.

In order for Actinic to use an SSL server, you need to have a whole chunk of webspace available to run under SSL - not just a form somewhere on a shared SSL server.

Ideally, the certificate you purchase should be installed on your own domain so you can run both

http://www.paultonspark.co.uk/cgi-bin/

and

https://www.paultonspark.co.uk/cgi-bin/

You can use a separate server for the SSL bits, as long as there is a file path available from your secure cgi-bin to the non-secure 'acatalog' folder.

Please excuse my ignorance - I've had a look through the help files and have assumed the following:

Once I have configured the FTP paths for both the site and FTP for the Secure Server, Catalog would automatically upload all the required files to both ?

However, the bit which bothers me is how do I overcome the following (quoted from the Secure Server overview file):

The process of applying for a certificate is complex, expensive and time-consuming and is quite often overkill for a site which is only likely to need one or two secure pages. NetBenefit's Secure Server product overcomes this by selling you just the quantity of security you need without compromising the quality by simply selling secure server space on a per form basis. This system is even more secure than standard web server offerings as the machine it is hosted on has no FTP connection capability and all uploading of forms and downloading of submitted information is done via a custom interface in your browser.

IE If it has no FTP connection capability how do I upload the scripts!?

Or... I do bite the bullet and, as in the past, just purchase the Actinic shared SSL

I do need to sort this one out as, a bit like a bus, I have 3 Actnic Catalog sites to start in the next couple of weeks!

You can't.

Actinic required FTP access to an SSL URL which would require you undertaking the "complex, expensive and time-consuming" process of purchasing and installing your own certificate on your server. Alternatively you could go with the Actinic Shared SSL system.

The service that NetBenefit are providing is not compatible with Actinic at all.
