    Nortree section level question

    Hiya Norman,
    Hows QLD treating your Mum?
I'm still using Nortree 1.09 - i didn't change to norcascade cause I'm happy with nortree plus i wasn't sure how to delete the old code then enter the new code with out buggering it up.
Anyway what I wanted to ask you was can Nortree stop at 2 section levels?
I'm in the process of changing my site to have a sort of product per page ie: section/sub-section 1 then sub-section 2 which are products. This will make my menus way to big and messy.
As usual any help is greatly appreciated and "Give my regards to your Mum" (something Molly Meldrum, Aussie Music Guru, said to Prince Charles once!! )

    Cheers,

    G'day Jacy

Yes Qld's just fine. Luckily my mum lives just over the border in South Tweed so she's a bit nearer when you go to tidy her garden.

Your level restriction is already in NorTree. Just set MaxDepth (main page - just below the About button) to something other than 0 and that's your section depth limit.

    See you . . . Norman

I'll be sure to call in on your Mum and do her garden next time I'm up that way.
I can't believe I missed tyhe "Max Depth" box Duh!!

OK I have now encountered another couple of errors.

When i first open Nortree I get an error message "Nortree not installed properly" Nortree still opens though.

Then i changed the max depth from 0 to 2, clicked create vars then clicked save settings and i get another message "Nortree not registered". It still does save the changes.

The other problem I'm having is the little arrows aren't showing.
This is what i have in the Advanced/Arrws page of Nortree ['tri.gif',7,10,'tridown.gif',10,7,'trileft.gif',7,10]

The tri.gifs are in my Nortree folder.
      Thanks for reading Norman.

      Cheers,

        Hi Again,
The Tri.gifs are also in my site1 folder and are included as additional files.

        Cheers,

It looks like you've switched Windows User Identities since installing NorTree. NorTree keeps some information in the Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER (just like Actinic). Either switch back to the original User or re-install Nortree under your current User Name.

NotTree stores its configuration in each Site folder in a file "nortree_config.ini". This file will be left unaltered if you re-install. It wouldn't hurt to make a copy just in case.

We can look at the Arrows once it's running without error messages as these may be related.

I reinstalled Nortree and it seems all is okey dokey.
                So thank you again.
