html in header help please?

HI there,
Sorry to do this but my knowledge of html is, how can I say it, well, I do "pigeon html" LOL
Anyway, I want to align me header so the text is centered but I have no clue what to put where (well, I know it's align=center or somehting but my DIY guesses aren't working..LOL)
I'll paste, below, the header and if someone could guide me where to put the cneter command, I'll be eternally greatful (and I promise I'll try to remember for future!)

That didn't work, Gary coz u put the center tags outside the !!< thingies and spelt it "properly"

hehehe...yeh..nearly said that myself.
Especially given an incident earlier today when I couldn't get a font coloUr change to work and then realiSed that I'd spelt that "properly" too!

Who taught them to spell anyway?
