    Error locating the "Original" directory

    Hi

    I've just had to rebuild a profile on the XP Pro machine that has Actinic installed upon it. Now when I try to start Actinic Ver 6, I get a dialog with the error message "Error locating the "Original" directory".

    Actinic is installed in its default install location.

    Any ideas how I can resolve this?

    You are going to need to re-install Actinic from the CD. Before you do this, however, back up your entire 'Site1' folder somewhere safe.

    Then re-install Actinic and license a site. Then close Actinic again and copy the contents of your backed-up Site1 folder into the newly-created Site1 folder. When you start Actinic again, all your data should be present and correct.

    The first thing you should do is refresh the site with 'Web | Refresh Website'. Please note that for any orders that have been placed whilst you have been doing this, when you retrieve them you will probably get a decryption error and not be able to retrieve the credit card info. You will need to contact the customer again to get these details.
