I was wondering whether Actinic had a feature whereby; when a user clicks the product link (listed by Act_SectionLine template), the full product description (which is displayed using the Act_ProductLine template) could be displayed in a pop-up window rather in the main browser window? Is this possible?

To achieve this, I will assume that you are using the section listing as a single container per product.

What you could do is possibly create a copy of the sectionline template, add in a target="mypage" to launch a new browser windows, and then use that section line for the sections(come product links) that you want to achieve this with.

Hi,

Can either support-techNo or garryb explain to me in much of a simpler langauge. Where can i find the section line template? does it mean i would name the template as mypage? target="mypage " Then in the extended info html, i add the word "target"?? eh..someone pls guide

This topic does not help you. They are talking about opening a new section in a new window. You are talking about pop-up windows controlled by the 'Extended Information' tab. They are different things.

Please start a new thread stating your question clearly.
