can anyone recommend a good hosting company thery have used with actinic and not had any problems with? there must be one??!!

Hmmm... Here's a quote from their latest news on Actinic.

"Actinic Version 5 is released. The eagerly awaited ActinicV5 was released just prior to Christmas 2001."

obviously that affects the quality of service norman.

I suppose it sort of does - if you were to rely on the quality of their help page that gives example network settings you only get results for V4 including a confusingly non-existent checkbox.
