    Good old frames

    Hi All,

I have almost finished building a site, and now need to put it in frames (aware of pros and cons - I'm not a fan).

I need to have 3 frames, a header (with logo and image, and some navigation i..e. about, shopping cart etc), a left hand menu below (with section line/categories) and to the right of this the main catalogue/content area.

Any tips on how to go about doing this?

    Many thanks!
    Dominic

Has the client asked for frames?

Dont see any need for them myself.

You could use an <IFRAME> for the BULK but iframe does not work with all browsers.

            Yes, they asked for frames.

            I agree.

Can I not use normal Frames to keep top and side menu static?

            Thanks

Yes you could but your site has not being designed for use with frames.

you can see the IFRAME in use HERE

                Thanks Gary,

Any tips/tutorials on how I can use IFRAMES with this design?

If its not suitable, can i not adjust the design through creating a frameset and 3 frames? (just not sure if its as simple as that in actinic)

                    Hi Wesley,

Nope - still no joy on the frames front.

                    Any ideas?

                    Cheers

It seems to me that you have gone about this in the wrong order. Actinic has some biult in themes which are framed.

You could just use one of these themes and build from there
