Can Be Ordered Online maximum value

Hi all,

Is there aanywher I can specify that anything over say £2000, cannot be ordered online by credit card. I have been doing this manually as there were only a few products which met this criterion, I've added new products and there's now around 50 products which meet this. I update the site every week and don't want to manually remove 50 ticks.

Is there any way I can specify that anything over £2000 cannot be ordered by credit card?

Hmmm...

Actinic allows you to put on a blanket maximum order value (although in v6 this is done via a Perl edit - see the Advanced User Guide) but there is no way to limit this by payment method.

THe only current thing that that influences payment method is location (in v5, v6 and v7) where you can limit certain payment methods to certain locations. However, in v7 you can apply surcharges to specific payment methods. I guess if you were using v7 you could apply a £1,000 surcharge (for example) to all credit card orders over £2,000.
