6.1.4 upgrade problem

after upgrading from 6.1.3 to 6.1.4 I am now unable to refresh the site, the message `error generating html pages. section online catalog' now appears - any advice please

Are you able to carry out a preview, or do you get an error there as well? Can you preview specific pages?

There are very few template changes between 6.1.3 and 6.1.4, which makes me think that it is a database problem.

The first thing I would do is 'Housekeeping | Compact Databases' and see if that helps at all.

If you have no joy, I would register an email support question at http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm and offer to send in your 6.1.3 snapshot to see if the team can upgrade it for you.

I have full preview access and have compacted the database, unfortunately the problem remains the same. I will follow your advice and register the query with the offer of a snapshot submission.
