"Preview" pane

Is the "preview" pane using the IE rendering engine? I don't yet have a copy of v7 to play with, but I'm curious.

Yes, it used the API for IE from the windows system to produce the preview pane as far as we are aware.

That's right. It uses a Microsoft Internet Explorer plug-in.
