    Wishlist Addition

Can we have an addition to the 'Adjustments' on an order that lets a new product be added - we often get customers calling to add an item to their order which they forgot to order first time round and it saves us raising another order just for the one product. We have the increase/decrese qty, all we need is a new product addition

OK, It would appear that such a feature doesn't exists in Order Manager but does in Catalog/Business/Developer

It would seem to me that Order Manage has been very under-developed and isn't capable of what I had expected of it... I was expecting it to be a product I could to full order processing on, including offline ordering and order modification, with the catalog editing disabled - that part being left to developer, but It would seem that quite a few of these new features have only made it into Catalog/Businiess meaning that I would need to order multiple copies of Business again to upgrade with all the features.

Again, is there a reason why Order Manager is missing so many of these order processing features and will they be put in soon/ever?

The issue is around product data.

The copy of Order Manager (OM) can operate with no product data. Else if a remote web designer is maintaining the site, OM would only be able to function after they had transferred the product data to OM. This would be highly clunky and error prone.

So the rule of thumb is that if a function requires information which isn't in the order, that function isn't available in OM.

Obviously we could find ways around this, but it would require a fair amount of development work, which we haven't found time for that as yet.

I hope that this helps explain things. I'm sorry that it doesn't help with the issue.

So, to replace the problem as we are running several version of Catalog/Business here would be just to buy a Developer License to replace them all. Am I right in assuming that Developer is just a multi-site license version of Business with a few extras such as DW extensions etc.. other than that they function in the same way?

        Cheers
