Editing Search Page..??

Hi All,

I am trying to edit the search page on my store to remove the quick search bar and cart quantity box. I have removed these two things from my brochure primary and act_primary but it still shows up on my search page. Can any one help with this?

Do you mean the search page as in 'search.html' or the search results page as in 'results.html'?

Actually, it makes no odds as both these pages both use the overall layout template that is defined in the 'Default Overall Layout' field in 'Design | Options | Layouts'.

Check that whatever template you have in that field has neither NETQUOTEVAR:SIMPLESEARCH, or the code for the shopping cart summary (search for 'getCartItem').

Note: If you are using one of the 'specific designs (non CSS)' or 'BusinessCSS' it may be that the code for these things is actually at the bottom of Act_Header.html.
