FTP problems

A working site can retrieve orders, but cannot update.

This message - Unable to connect to the FTP server "ftp.....". The connection with the server was reset

is given.

Ideas about why, when an automated login to retrieve orders works?

Have you added any firewalls or proxys to your system? If so, they may be blocking Actinic?

When did it stop working? have you changed anything to do with your Internet Connection?

I checked everything and found that a proxy entry was misapplied.

Fixed, thanks to you.

Its still odd that downloads worked, but not uploads.

Actinic might not be using FTP for order downloads which would explain why they still worked.

Yes, that is right. Actinic uses Http to download orders by running a script.
