    Norcascade does not load

    Hello

Within my store, I notice that when you open a page, if you click on the info link (i) within my product table (and thus bringing up a new window), before the page has fully loaded, the drop down menu (norcascade) does not work.

So, if a customer goes into a page, clicks on a product info line, then closes that, the navigation is non existent.

    Example page is http://www.fidelitydj.co.uk/acatalog/Singles_1_20.html

    Any ideas

    Cheers

    Steven

I think this is normal behaviour for norcasade.

I've looked at my own site and it behaves in the same way you describe.

but because I have reduced the navigation on that page it doesn't seem to matter

You have the NorCascade code (in Act_primary.html) at the end of your page, just before the </BODY> tag.

Try moving it to the usual place of just after the <BODY .....> tag and see if that helps.

        Hi Norman

Thanks for that. The initial page loading looks slower now, but it does elimate the problem of customers clicking on more info, closing that window, and then not being able to use the drop down menus.

I have found tho that the id it is linked to (home) does not start on screen in the same place but a little way across. For example, the menu sits over 'Store'. Previously, if you put the mouse over any part of this word, the menu would appear. Now, it only apperars over 'ore'.

I have not changed the store top page, this still works fine.

For comparison, a page that works on 'ore'
        http://www.fidelitydj.co.uk/acatalog/Singles_1_20.html

        and page that works on'Store'
        http://www.fidelitydj.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

Using your ad on, i removed a few of the &nbsp; in the single root text field but to no avail.

        Any suggestions.

        Thanks as always

        Steven

          Hi

I tried to insert the space text &.n.b.s.p.; into the above thread but seems this was missed (hence with .'s in).

Drop down menu seems to still be fine in Opera, just IE that is not working.

Both those pages seem to operate identically on IE6. However both only drop down the menu when you hover over "Sto" and not the full word.

As I've no idea how you've implemented this I'm unable to comment further.
