error on page

In IE I keep getting a yellow triangle in the bottom left corner telling me there are errors on the page. This only happens when I'm through the home page and in to the products pages.
Error reads
Line: xx <xx numbers seem to change per page
char:1 < remains at 1
Error: syntax error
Code: 0

Mods made to act_primary
1 Normenu
2 Worldpay logos
3 html for stat's

Can some one tell me what i've done or what to do to remove error
