Error whilst performing update

When i try to 'update' i get the following error messages midway through;

125 file status ok; about to open data connection

i click 'ok' and get this error message

An error occurred while writing to "acatalog" on the web site. The problem is probably due to permissions problems, but could be due to low disk space. Actinic Ecommerce can not work with these settings. Press Cancel if you would like to manually examine the permissions and disk space on the web site. Press Retry if you would like Actinic Ecommerce to attempt to change the permissions on the directory for you.

this gives me the options 'retry' or 'cancel'

any ideas.........?

I am running Actinic Business Version 6.1.3.0.0.0.DHBA

Hi Peter,

Actinic requires 755 on the cgi-bin folder and 777 on the acatalog folder. Check with the hosting company that the permissions on the acatalog are set to 777 (read/write/execute) on a UNIX server, or on NT, that the user account that Actinic Ecommerce is using, has NTFS permissions of 'Change' (on W2K this may be 'Modify') and web server permissions of read/write/execute on the acatalog directory.
