The way around your problem would be to use a different primary template for your checkout pages and hard-code the links (copy the generated code from one of your product pages). Replace NETQUOTEVAR:FOOTERGUIDE with this code. Select the template in 'Design | Options | Layouts | Checkout Pages Layout'.
If you want the same on the confirmation page, use the checkout template for the 'Default Overall Layout' and then select the normal primary template for each top-level section (if you have sub-sections, set to 'Use Parent' and they will use the layout of the parent section).
Is this still the only way? My primary checkout template does have NETQUOTEVAR:FOOTERGUIDE detailed as per the other primary templates. Why doesn't it show it? Cheers, Richard
